About Us

The history of (the legal predecessors of) Fortis in Fiducia goes back to the 1990s. After working for a number of years at a large accounting firm, Henri Maas started the Maas Advisory Group in Deurne (NL) in 1984. In 1987, Jan Larsen founded the LNP Group in Copenhagen. Still unaware of each other's existence, Mark Dodsworth started Europartnerships in Bristol (UK) in 2000.

The Maas Advisory Group developed into MaeS and Partners to become the market leader in mergers and acquisitions in the accountancy sector in the Benelux. LNP Group transformed into LNP Corporate Finance and specialist in mergers and acquisitions in the Tech sector in the Nordics and Benelux. Europartnerships developed into a professional consultancy company with a distinct focus on international trade and alliances. Although the paths of the three companies have crossed each other repeatedly in recent decades, the joining of forces was only completed in 2023.
